Celtic Marches Cider steals the show!
The West of England Harvest Show 2019 is held in Tenbury each year, hosted by The Tenbury Agricultural Society Ltd. The annual celebration of local produce attracts a wealth of cider and perry producers. October 25th proved to be an excellent day for Celtic Marches, with the judges awarding three 1st Place prizes and one 3rd.
Cracklin’ Rosie was a clear favourite at the show. Picking up 1st Prize in both the ‘Still’ and ‘Sparkling’ categories.
Made using 100% fresh pressed British pear juice, Cracklin’ Rosie is a bright medium perry and her delightful taste is delicate and fine. Light in colour with a very slight green hue, this crisp, clean perry is crafted with precision. (Available in 20L BIBs & 330ml bottles)
Our leading lady, Thundering Molly also scooped a 1st Prize. Beautiful to the core, Thundering Molly is a palate pleasing, lightly sparkling medium cider that is far from mediocre. She is a meticulously balanced cider with a golden glow. This scrumptious sip is smooth, well rounded and has a wonderful apple nose. A signature quality of our homegrown Herefordshire Cider apples.
The bitter sweet and sharp mash in Molly includes Dabinett, Harry Masters, Ashton Bitters and Three Counties to name a few. (Available in 30L Ekegs/PET kegs, 20L BIBs 500ml & 330ml bottles, 330ml cans)
Third prize was awarded to Celtic Marches ‘Scrumpy’, this 6% cider comes straight from the tank at the family’s Bishop Frome farm!
