Glasgow Short Film Festival
The Glasgow Short Film Festival is one of the largest of its kind held in Scotland. The Festival is held between 13-17th of March. It prides itself on promoting both national and international film makers. Not only does it provide platform for both competition between film makers but it also gives new film makers help through interactive seminars, discussions and networking events.
The Glasgow Short Film Festival has been going since 2008 where it has grown every year, becoming the leading competitive short film festival in Scotland. Over the years they have had a huge diversity of discussions with topics as diverse as Ukrainian collective Babylon'13 to Cinema of Transgression films of the 1970s and 80s.
